"...for the benefit and enjoyment of the people..."
-Yellowstone National Park Act, 1872

With the dedication of Yellowstone National Park in 1872 by President Grant, the United States of America became the first nation to set aside land, by law, for the enviromental protection and enjoyment of its citizens. Since then, many additional parks have been established along with over 300 other national monuments, battlefields, historic sites, etc... It is my goal to visit all of the National Parks; even the ones inside the arctic circle. As I visit the parks I will add my photographs to this web site.
