During the summer of 2004, the streets of Washington, DC were filled with the whimsical public art exhibit "PandaMania". This exhibit included 150 pandas both sitting and standing painted by local, national, and international artists as well as amatures and professionals. Run by the DC Commission on Arts and Humanities, PandaMania was the follow-up to the successfull "Party Animals" exhibit run in 2002.
